I just finished my lunch. I wouldnt have tried it if I read the critics earlier. Although I cant comment on the pasta, I can say the tropical salad was super good. The place is very nice outside and the hosts are nice. I always have salad at books and books or Sprit, but this is a solid alternative. Not a tourist trap as some people called it. I am happy with this place.

Overpriced, small portions. $11 minestrone soup came cold, $16 fettuccine alfredo was small and underwhelming in appearance - just a bowl of noodles with the plainest white sauce on earth. Then there was a $2 charge to add 2 spoons of Kraft parmesan cheese. The pizza was good but also small for its price. Service was slow, waiter totally disappeared after bringing our food and he had to be tracked down for our bill.

Absolutely delicious, authentic Italian cuisine. It's been a long time since I've had real Italian food that tasted this good! Great service and atmosphere! Outdoor and indoor seating available. No complaints!

Italian is my favorite cuisine and I can easily rate this restaurant as a 5-stars for the taste, atmosphere and customer service. I have tried their Veal Ravioli and Veal with Mushrooms Sauce and both are delicious. Highly recommended!

Really good food and great spot for people watching. A little pricey but nothing out of the ordinary for South Beach. We had the Greek salad to start and for dinner we had lasagna and spinach ricotta tortellini which were all great. Service was good as well!

I was walking Lincoln Rd. Mall when we saw their advertisement for 25.00 Surf and Turf. I thought why not? I indeed got the surf and turf. It was a half of lobster and a 5oz Filet Mignon. The dish came with two sides. The lobster was succulent and the Filet was cooked to perfection. I did not have a alcoholic beverage as one of my dinner associates proclaimed their wine was on the weaker of flavoring side. I'd also sent 2 soft drinks back for being flat. Maybe every drink the place was watered down *shrugs* I'd probably go back again. Maybe not for dinner...Maybe lunch.

Service ok, the food is like the food you have a any food court but way more expensive. I ordered the chicken Milanese and it taste horrible. I'll never come back.

We enjoyed our meal at Sibilla. They were offering 1/2 price food until 7PM during Art Basel which was cool. Several of their pastas are homemade and really great. My dish had lobster and it was great. Our bread basket had a couple of different breads in it. They wine selection is great and we had a really awesome red out of Italy (name slips my mind). Our waiter was very nice and offered us really great options. The outdoor seating is the best part as the inside of the place is small. Since this is Miami Beach your tip will be included.

My first thought has to be: Sibilla is extremely overpriced. I warned my foreign visitors that it would be a 'different' experience, but they insisted in dining here. Total tourist trap. I have been to the "Bice" brand at other locations and it was certainly better. Service was all right and food was ok. At least my dish and my fiancée's were good. I ordered the roasted hen and she had the seafood skewers. Both were tasty, but nothing out of this world. The side dish was a bit too watery for my taste. In my opinion, the price was just too much to bear for the quality of the food. Revenue Management needs to figure out and perhaps I'd give this place another chance in the future. And don't even get me started on the drinks... $$$. I will definitely skip and settle with water. Your wallet will be thankful.

Sibilla in 5 words: Way too overpriced; mediocre food. The drinks are alright, but also extremely overpriced. Even in Miami, where prices are expected to be high, you expect better quality for prices like these. The food wasn't out of this world, and could have been eaten at another restaurant for at least half the price. Even with the happy hour deal they were promoting, the food wasn't worth it. You can find better options at Lincoln Road than this one. The service is alright (slow, but pleasant), and the ambience outside is similar to other Lincoln Road restaurants and cafes - great, especially when there aren't too many crowds around.

We had a great lunch here last week. I was a little concerned at first because it was kind of empty compared to the other restaurants on Lincoln Road, but we took a chance. Food was very good (I had the prosciutto pizza which was delicious) and our server (M. Marko) was on his A game from start to finish including being really accommodating with our kids. Oh, almost forgot, we accidentally came during happy hour so our food bill was discounted by 25%. Nice surprise guys! We'll be back!

Bice is a decent restaurant and I was expecting so much more from Sibilla. I ordered the focaccia which was ok, but nothing special and my significant other had the lasagna which was basically a blob of mozzarella with a little pasta and barely any meat underneath. Service was decent, the server was friendly but it took a while for him to take care of us. During the meal we were not asked once how things were and when we were finished, I had to get up to ask for the check because the waiter was no where to be found. I would understand this if they had been jam packed like most other restaurants but they were one of the emptiest places on Lincoln Road. Wouldn't go back.

Another crappy and expensive restaurant in Lincoln road. Poor service (asked 3 servers for parmesan cheese, it never came) Poor food (its ok... But not for a 23 dollar pasta) and little athmosphere. If you want italian in lincon keep walking to trattoria de leo... But I suggest you skip lincon road and head to either brickell or Coral Gables.

i was hanging out with a few friends on our way to exxxotica expo but we decided to stop by sibilla for a quick bite before getting freaky and stuff. it was happy hour so 2 for 1 drinks, bitches. it was 3 of us and we all had 3 paid rounds which means six drinks, you follow? the ladies each got a caprese salad and i ordered a dozen oysters. fuckin suaaaave. the salad was good. caprese is simple and tasty. the oysters were fresh but i wish they had mignonette sauce. yeah. im fancy and shit. service was decent but our server seemed a bit stressed out. perhaps too many tables? bill came up to $150. we paid and left to the convention center a little drunk, im not going to lie. of course i wanted to snap pictures of all the action at exxxotica but soon realized that i had left my phone at the restaurant so i went back and talked to the hostess. i got my cell phone right back and i quickly headed over to exxxotica again, thrilled that i had a camera phone with so i could take a picture with alexis texas. it was a good night. at least i liked it.

Pretty good restaurant with decent service on Lincoln Road. Outdoor seating is great for the people watching and the bread basket is fresh and a good way to start the meal. Drinks were strong and I ordered the Lobster Ravioli for my meal. It was a bit on the fishier side and the sauce was more like a lobster bisque rather than a creamy tomato sauce that is usually served with this type of pasta. I did finish the whole thing though, so it couldn't have been too bad. I also got to try my friend's linguine alla vongole (with clam sauce) and it was fresh and very tasty. I also tried other items at the table, the skirt steak was very tender and flavorful (though a small portion) and the lasagna was nice with the meat sauce and traditional bechamel. Overall I would recommend this restaurant for patient and friendly service, good drinks and decent food. Location is nice as well for people watching and outdoor dining.

I came here after my friends found it walking around. I wanted some Italian food and this seemed to be a good place for. I ordered the lasagna and it was good I just didn't like the plate it came in. Seems like a good place to eat at again. Maybe for a longer stay I would have gone back.

Margherita pizza was tasty but way too much cheese (I can't believe I actually just wrote that) - the crust was good though. Ceviche was huge and filled with lots of great seafood and fish but wasn't really "cooked" with lime juice, it was almost like a seafood salad with some sort of mayo or something. I squeezed a ton of lime and lemon juice on it and it was pretty tasty. Our server was very good. They're actually nice here, unlike a lot of the service on Lincoln Road. Happy hour is good, either 2 for 1 drinks or 50% off food before 7pm.

finally a tasty Italian place on Lincoln. I actually popped in here with my mom one night and the pasta was fantastic. Lincoln road only has a few spots a actual local like me will eat. Alot of reviews complain about their happy hours etc, I have never used their coupons so I cant comment on it. however I will say the food was good and fresh. the waiters were really nice and on point with their service, not a common quality on Lincoln road. they were versed well on their wine list too. I have gone back two times since I ate there in the summer

Absolutely delicious! Was pleasantly surprised due to average review of 3 stars on the day I went here. Fantastic tuna tartare, the best I've ever had, pizza was excellent as well as the gnocchi, and penne arrabiata (I tried all of it). Had to write this review to right the injustice ;)

We loved the quality of our seafood pasta. It was seriously excellently delicious with an entire lobster tail on top of it which was very tasty as well. However, we did not ask for the lobster tail and were surprised to be charged $48 for the dish while the hostess ensured us that it was on a special just like the seafood risotto for $18. We also didnt like that the cheap looking hostess was trying to lure us in. Even though the food was really excellent and our server was very friendly, prompt and genuine, we felt taken advantage of like some dumb tourists. When we asked to speak to the manager thankfully he was professional and reduced the price to the risotto price ($18) since that is what was promised to us and the reason we decided to stay. The hostess should really pay for the discrepancy if anything. Overall, we would recommend this place because of the excellent quality of the food, the good service and the forthcoming manager. And of course also because of the beautiful outdoor setting. However, be aware that you are clear about the prices upfront in order to avoid another disappointing experience on lincoln road. Enjoy! :)

Way overpriced, with poor service and just ok food. My son waited for his meatballs and spaghetti while we finished eating. Asked numerous time and 'it was coming' people who came after us were all eating and he still did not have his food. Salad that my wife ordered came without basil that was the main part of the salad (caprese). 17% tip was added automatically for 4. Would not recommend.

Two words.....tourist trap. The worst part was the terrible service by a Patrizzio and the food was horrible. Avoid at all costs. They are not working towards repeat business from locals but instead the once in a while transient Tourists.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that we did enjoy the food despite the terrible service and high prices. First, the food: Greek salad $8. Small bowl of greens with some crumbled feta, three olives and two tomato wedges. Even though I specifically asked for NO raw onions, they ended up on the salad. Pizza Margarita $13. Tiny thin crust pizza with tomato sauce and zero cheese. Got a heartburn just by looking at it. Flank steak with fries and salad $24. You get about a 5-6 oz steak with a small portion of fries and a tiny salad without dressing. Tasty but way too expensive for what you get. You receive the same dish at any Cuban place in Miami for $8. Or you can order the 10 oz sirloin at Maya for $16. Spaghetti Carbonara $16. No complaints here about the quality of the dish but then again it should have been more like $12 or less. Bucatini with meatballs and marinara sauce $23. The meatballs were mediocre and the dish should have cost less than $15. Now the service. I had to ask for a spoon three times. I had to ask for water refills twice. Before we even had our plates on the table, I pulled the waiter aside and asked him to bring out a chocolate cake with a candle after dinner for my dad's birthday. After our dinner plates were cleaned off, we sat for 30 minutes waiting. No one showed up with the dessert, to ask whether we wanted dessert or coffee or bring us the check. The BF finally walked inside and told them to forget about the dessert and just bring the check. 10 minutes later they bring the dessert anyway. At this point, I was sure it would be complimentary. But no! They charged us $9 for a teeny tiny chocolate souffle and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Had they comped us the dessert I might have even considered to give them another shot. But this place just isn't worth it.

Absolutely amazing dinner! Had come here once about a year ago just walking up and down Lincoln with my girlfriend, and we fell in love with the homemade pasta. Fast forward to now - back in South Beach with the boyfriend and told him we HAD to have dinner at Sibilla at least once! It was everything I remembered and more - the good amazing, the wine delicious, and our waiter was gracious and attentive. Sibilla is on my must-have list whenever I'm in town!!

They had 1/2 off your meal on Sunday before 1pm which made it reasonable for the food. If I had to pay full price I would say wasn't worth it. Decent salad, pizza and bruschetta. Great service.

The food was so good. Came upon the restaurant while shopping. It was crowded so thought it was a good sign. (Forgot to check Yelp.). Thankfully I did. Food was amazing and it was a good outdoor setting (even in the rain.) would for sure come back here. Try Red Snapper. AMAZING!!!

It was our last night on vacation in Florida, so we decided to go out to eat someplace nice in Miami. The hostess really knew how to persuade us into choosing this restaurant. The prices on the menu looked very reasonable. We ordered 3 seafood specials, (assuming the prices would be reasonable as well). The seafood pasta was over $40 and the seafood combination was $60!!! It was not worth the money at all! Our family loves seafood and we've had seafood that tastes amazing for a fraction of the cost. Also, an 18% gratuity was automatically added, but it was very hard to tell! The waiter even brought the receipt with a blank to fill in the amount for the tip! We were very disappointed overall. The place was a complete scam!

Had a very good experience. Management has acknowledged the problems and has educated the wait staff hired a new chef and changed the menu. I had a delicious mahi mahi dinner and had excellent service from a very pleasant young server. I recommend it highly.

What a ripoff! $25 for mediocre mushroom pasta?? Wow. Olive oil was clear and flavorless. Drinks were so weak my boyfriend had to ask for more alcohol. Seafood paella was ok but not worth $34.

Thieves! I don't have mucht to say about this restaurant, The food was not that good (i am italian) and the waiter (Luca, if i am not wrong) was very dishonest just to get more tips in the end. When we went to the manager to complain he didn't even gave us an excuse and said that it was not his business.

One of those Lincoln Rd restaurants that extends outside serving Italian fare. We have been there 3 times now , enough to have a good take on this place. The food is very good and is very affordable if you take advantage of one of their many special offerings. On a friday and sunday at about 1:30 PM they had a 50% off deal. I think this is typical. When I left the place the offer was down to 25% off - well if airlines can do capacity pricing, why not restaurants. They are also usually available with a discount via S Florida dines. To date we have tried the melanzana (eggplant parm), the seafood risotto and the caprese salad - all very good. Their soups taste like they were for people on a diet - the minnestrone was fresh but had little flavor - cut vegetables in a clear broth. The lobster bisque was also too light - so I would pass on their soups.

While I never mind spending $$$ for good quality food and excellent service, I have very little tolerance for restaurants like this one that offer only decent food, mediocre service but feel they can somehow charge outrageously high prices with gratuity included. While I expect to pay higher prices at many restaurants in this area because Lincoln Road is swarming with tourists and folks on vacation, Locanda Sibilla is excessively high priced for what they offer IMO. A few friends were in town from California and were staying on the beach. We decided to meet up for dinner on a Wednesday night and I took them to Lincoln Road because, as I've stated before, I'm a fan of bringing people here since you can usually find something that will fit everyone's tastes and mood. On this night, one of them was hungry for Italian, and another was hungry for Lobster. We were heading down Lincoln, one of them looked at the menu here at Locanda Sibilla and yelled "Hey, this is the place" and got the attention of a waiter. Once I looked at the menu and saw some of the prices ($18 for a slice of lasagne, $15 on average for an appetizer, etc.) I really wanted to tell them that we could do better a bit further down, but the waiter already had them hooked and we were being seated. Not only were the prices pretty outrageous, even for Lincoln Rd./SOBE, but the service was poor as well. Our waiter took our order, then brought us 4 small squares of bread and our beverages. Several minutes later, we'd eaten the bread and needed a refill on our drinks. However, no one returned to check on us until our meals were delivered. Once our food was served, that's pretty much the last we saw of our server. Someone needed a refill during the course of the meal, but none of the service staff even stopped by to check on us. Once we finished our meals, we sat there for at least another 10 minutes chatting away, and still, no one had asked how our our food was, if we were happy with everything, if we needed anything, etc. Finally I signalled to another waiter at a nearby table and asked him to send our server. He showed up, cleared the plates and we asked for the check. 5 more minutes, still no bill. Finally it arrives. We all throw down our credit cards and decide how to split the bill. 7 or 8 more minutes after that, no one has arrived to pick up the check. Anyway, you get the point. The service was poor at best...And of course, this is one of those restaurants that includes gratuity automatically so they know they don't have to work for it and don't even try.

On a personal note I would never eat at this restaurant if it wasnt 50% off the entire menu. I went to Lincoln Rd. on a Sat afternoon and decided to hae lunch here with the BF. The hostess tells you have price off food and 2 for one drinks, what she doesnt tell you that its one or the other not both so before you order make sure you take a look at the card she gives you! We decided to order fried calamari (really really good btw and a large portion considering the type of restaurant it was), bruschetta ( which was bleh) and a Margherita pizza (kind of small but still very tasty). The bill totalled to $25.64 including additional tip. Not to bad in my opinion.

Great staff... Great Pinot (the middle priced bottle - I think $40) was really good... Their tortellini is ravioli, not tortellini but their food was amazing. My husband got the rib-eye and it was a good size and great tasting - I took pictures... Everyone enjoyed their food... They had a veal with yellow rice too that was amazing. Def would go back...

Terrible service! And bad management. Don't waste your money here. A once good restaurant has turned into a food factory. There was a hair in my food. I sent back the rest of my meal. I though it was gracious of them to take the meal off our bill, but then they said it was probably my hair. I asked for the manager and could not believe that even he was saying it could be anyone's hair and it most certainly did not come from the kitchen. DO NOT EAT HERE. Go to Tiramisu for excellent food and superb service!

Awesome service!!! Awesome food!!! I ordered several dishes and they were all delicious. It is a nice setting on Lincoln street out doors. Only down side was the wait time for my check. I didn't mind though. But I wouldn't recommend going here if you are planning on eating and leaving quickly.

Whatever you do, don't ask to sit inside. I went to Sibilla with my boyfriend and his parents and it was particularly hot outside, so we asked to sit inside. The host took us down a long narrow hallway that was pretty gross and brought us into a small room with I believe 6 different televisions. If there is one thing I hate it is a (supposedly) nice restaurant with televisions in it. I would expect a TV at a sports bar or other casual restaurant, but not when I am trying to have a nice dinner. The televisions were all set to different channels, but the one closest to us was set on Univision. It was horrible! All of the TVs had the sound on, too. So the host hands us a remote when we are seated! I was so turned off by that. The service wasn't bad, our waiter was very attentive. We ordered our food and it was all pretty good. I got the gnocchi with four cheeses. It was extremely rich, but good. My boyfriend's mom accidentally ordered the pizza marinara (she meant to order the margarhita pizza) so she just got pizza dough with sauce on it. It was a bit strange. Bottom line: if you chose to go to this restaurant, sit outside. The prices don't really justify the quality of food, but if you are sitting outside at least you will have a better atmosphere.

  • Judie H.

The pizza here is pretty good. With an average three star rating we were very cautious in our orders and even more so taking the first bite however there were no negatives, with that being said, it wasn't mind blowing either. The drink were pretty good though. I love this whole eating outside on patio furniture vibe though, yes indeed. This would be a good spot to chill after shopping on Lincoln strip.

I write this as a service to locals and tourists alike. It is impossible to enjoy any meal while feeling like a sucker. My hubby and I eat on Lincoln Road at least once a week. We always stay clear of any place that tries lure us with dinner "specials" and/or beautiful Russian hostesses. Not sure if the food was good or bad. But I know that I felt ripped off and suckered. And if you read my reviews, you know that a decent glass of wine and a pleasant meal is all I ask.....so if you are just looking for good, casual food, stick with Books and Books. If you are looking for a dining experience, head over to Meat Market. But if you are looking to feel like a duped tourist, visit Sibilla....

  • Krista M.

There's a great deal such as 2 for 1 or 25% off bill. We chose the 2 for 1 drinks and they are well made. The Service I cant say was great. We had to ask for a bowl of water for the dog and plates for us to eat the buschetta which was amazing and refreshing. The tuna tar tar and the gnocchi were wonderful. GREAT FOOD!! LOVED IT!!! VERY PRICEY!

    (4)
  • Anna S.

Extremely overpriced; the only thing that made it worth it was the happy hour at half off. Food was fresh. However, the presentation was just ok. Ordered a house salad - full portion was a decent size. Eggplant was very well done, melted in your mouth. But definitely needed more sauce and some sort of garnish on the plate - it looked odd on a big white plate by itself. Hubby ordered veal ravioli which were really good.

There arent many places on Lincoln Road where you can get a decent affordable meal.... Well Sibilla isnt one of those places either. As many said, we were tempted with either a 25% off our meal, or 2-4-1 drinks. Our table had to make the decision as a whole. As it's been said, the drinks aren't cheap either. The house made Gnocci with pesto, potatoes, and greenbeans was on point. The texture of the Gnocci was terrific. I'm not sure it was a $20 portion though. This was also the case with the spaghetti with clam sauce. (we asked, the spaghetti is out of a box). My friend had Seafood grill with Salmon, calamari, tuna, and loster ($70) and found a piece of PLASTIC inside one of the calamari. When this was brought up to the water gave a single indifferent "sorry". Not "i'm sorry", not "I'll bring it to the attention of the kitchen" just "sorry". They never mentioned it again. Considering the snail's pace service, included tip, and price of food, you'd expect a tad more courtesy. GIVE ME A FRIGGIN BREAK, GIOSSEPPE! Our waiter actually stood next to another party gabbing with them for quite a while. I was pissed. We were in a larger group, and we weren't about to put a $443 bill in one person's lap. They at first refused to split the check, and when we finally got them to agree to split it, they screwed up the charges. This is after we had taken each card, placed each in a napkin and wrote how much to put on each card. We did the work for them, and they still managed to eff it up. We then had a member of our party stand next to them while they charged each card. They weren't exactly busy, but this just seemened to be such a major inconvenience to them. Of course they automatically added a 17% gratuity to our bill. Pricey, and although I know you could do worse on SoBe, the portions, quality, and service were not up to par when price was considered. Be prepared to wait.

I have read therough the other reviews and cannot really adress most of what is said. I come here from time to time, more as of late because of out of town visitors, but mainly for simple reasons. It is a nice atmospher to sit in and people watch on Lincoln road, the mojitos are good, and I have not found better terimisu on south beach. For these reasons and good service, I give the place four stars and will keep coming back. But after the other reviews, I might skip dinner.

The bf and I had been having a rough day so we were looking to relax with some drinks. The lush outdoor patio on Lincoln and the 2 for 1 drink deal at Sibilla caught our eye as did the delicious looking margarita pizzas that some patrons were eating. Yes, the prices of some drinks were a little expensive, but when you get 2 for the price of 1 it's a good deal. If you want to know the prices and it's not written on the menu just ask! It's not that hard to do. My proseco was $10 and was a lovely way to end the day. Beers were only $6. The margerita pizza straight from a wood burning oven looked better then it tasted. It was good, but the cheese was kinda strong. I loved our waiter. He was Italian and very friendly, but my one qualm was that our water glasses were never refilled unless we asked. The whole experience made me feel like I was back in Europe.

A bit on the pricey side comparison to other restaurants on Lincoln Rd. But the food here at Sibilla is always a hit! Try the branzino with a great glass of red wine, I almost stayed the whole day it was such a pleasant experience!

I was at Lincoln Road Mall window shopping. I love to eat and especially at restaurants I have never been to before. I finally decided to try Locanda Sibilla, especially since there was a 25% off deal going on. I ordered the Ravioli Massaia. It had spinach, mushrooms, and a mushroom sauce. For the life of me I cannot remember what else was in the dish because it was so yummy delicious that I scarfed it all down savoring the flavor of super yumminess. It is the best mushroom ravioli I have ever had. It also came with a side of bread and yes, even the bread was heavenly. Another thing that I absolutely loved about this place is the outside dining. The weather in Florida is perfect for lunch dining in the spring.

They sucked us in with the 25% off gimmick. Our server was 'A. Rene'. He avoided us for most of our time there. They weren't even that busy. The waiter was spotted sitting at one of the tables, counting money. We tried to slow down on the calamari in an effort to get more sauce for the other half of the dish. That didn't work, and we all ended up with empty glasses before finally getting some service. The food was good but overpriced. We assumed it was an effort to balance out the 25% discount. Well, they didn't give us the discount and they automatically added 18% gratuity. I have to agree with the review that compares their tactics to that of used car salesmen. Good food. Overpriced. Terrible service. (at least from 'A. Rene')

$12 Mojitos, they were good, but not $12 good. Of course, there are no prices on the drink menu so the outrageous drink prices are a real gotcha. We fell for their 50% off food "special". They also automatically add a 17% gratuity to the bill, but they give it to you with a line to add more tip. There were 3 in our party, the bill came to $133 (incl 4 drinks). Service was friendly and attentive. Food was notably good, but we felt the overall experience at Sibilla was overpriced. Is this review helpful or not? Let me know. Please vote!

Ok so Sibilla surprised me, in a good way! We were sat down, my mom and I, and we decided to people watch which is always a good time. My mother got the vitello tonnato which she adored. I got the lasagna and it was one of the best I have had in Miami. Extremely authentic. The prices were just right and our waiter was very kind and funny. I recommend to anyone who enjoys the Lincoln Road scene!

This restaurant was SO bad that it made me join YELP just so I could warn people. I went there on Sunday afternoon in January 2011 with my 7 year old daughter and my friend with his three daughters. I felt like I was at a 1970's used car lot. I am a part time resident of Miami Beach and I know the game the restaurants play on Lincoln Rd, but this was extreme. The hostess saw us and told us if we eat there we will get 25% off the check. Our waiter was standing with her when she told us. We ordered and it all went downhill from there. The food was absolutely horrible. And when he brought me the check I reviewed it carefully because they were so shady I didn't trust them. Sure enough not only was there no 25% discount but he charged me $15 EXTRA for the steak I ordered. I questioned the overcharge on the steak before addressing the discount. He told me that they brought me the "wrong steak" by mistake and he will reduce the price to the price of the one I ordered. He then proceeded to tell me that he will "take 25% off the corrected price of the steak!" I laughed and told him we get 25% off the entire bill and reminded him that he was there when she told us. He said he would need to get a manager. Ten minutes passed and he comes back with menus and says, "you may want to order some dessert or coffee because my manager is busy right now." I stepped away from the table and confronted the man as professionally as possible explaining that the game was over. I had to tell them I was leaving in two minutes without paying if they didn't give me a correct bill. We were actually hustled by these shameless people. And all for some of the worst food I have ever had...without exaggeration. DO NOT EAT AT SIBILLA in South Beach.

Lincoln Rd is lined with all different restaurants & Shops - It is the place to go when in Miami Beach. Sibilla's is in my opinion the best meal on Lincoln Rd, hands down - I only wish it did not take us until our last night in Miami Beach to try it. The pasta is freshly made on site, and our Ravioli stuffed with Crab meat was to die for. They also have a wood oven, and their pizzas have a nice thin crust, and ours was served topped with fresh vegies and sausage. For desert we enjoyed a lovely tiramisu. Our waiter, Luca, was friendly and made it a great experience for usl. It was the perfect final dinner in Miami Beach.

Having tried a lot of so-so overpriced places on Lincoln Road, I am reluctant to go outside my comfort zone of tried & true faves. I only came here because I grew impatient waiting for a table at da Leo which is next door. Since we were only looking for a place to continue the day drinking from brunch, our group decided to give it a try. It was not crowded and the service was excellent and friendly. So excellent that the waiter painstakingly explained that the 2 for 1 drink specials were PER PERSON only -- meaning, you couldn't split the special with your friend. The drinks were pricey. The only food I had was dessert: the dulce de leche crepe. The crepe was cold but delicious. Just based on the price of the drinks, I may not come here to try the food. But since it has received some good reviews, I may come here again if da Leo is full.

I ordered a few more dishes. Tuna nicois salad, seafood salad (Forget name), not so good. Pasta bolognese amazing as usual (So was there seafood pasta I had once as a chef special) but the other food dissapointing. So when I order their delicious homemade pasta my wife is getting sick of ordering the only other dishes she finds good (octopus salad and carpaccio) the other two she ordered were real dissapointments. I hope she wants to go back.

The food was subpar especially for the exaggerated prices. The waiter was not very accommodating and sat us in a tight corner where I could barely move my feet. This is a tourist trap so I feel ashamed that I was trapped as a local. Drinks are 1% alcohol and 99% cocktail mixters, but then again that's how Miami Beach restaurants typically operate. There are far better italian restaurants to visit in Miami; Olive Garden is gourmet next to this place.

Decided on this place by chance...The 2 for 1 drinks caught out attention, and I'm glad it did. 2 is all you need! The food is OK in my opinion, nothing to write home about, and a bit over priced, but the drinks do the trick. The drink menu doesn't have any prices, but if you ask the waiter, he'd be happy to tell you. This place is perfect to sit back enjoy a nice, strong drink and the company of friends. No one here to hurry you along. Staff is very friendly, and honest enough in their suggestions. The original Mojito is the best!

Went here one night while apartment hunting in South Beach. Like almost all of the other places on Lincoln Rd, they offer happy hour specials from 5-7 with your choice of either 2 for 1 drinks or 25% off of food. We got there after 7 but were still offerred the special. The waiter was really friendly and from Italy. We saw all the other food coming out and saw that the portions where huge so the ladyfriend and I decided to split a pizza and go with the 2 for 1 drinks. The pizza was cooked in a wood burning oven and you could really taste the wood, which isn't a bad thing. It gave the pizza a nice smokey flavor. It had a thin crispy crust, which I like, and a generous amount of cheese. The best part about this place though is just sitting outside on Lincoln Rd. A great way to spend a hot summer evening.

After a long day of shopping, me and my friend stopped here for dinner. The drink/dinner promotions trick you into thinking you're getting a great deal but the bill always seems to come out as usual. Anyway - we shared the paella. Man, I could go for some right now. It wasn't better than any other paella but it was lovely eating outdoors in the middle of lincoln rd. Our waiter was a bit scary tho.

Food was good. I give it a 4 star rating because the service was INCREDIBLE! and we all know that finding good service in Miami Beach is like winning the Lotto. The waiter had a great sense of humor, was very friendly and attentive. He recommended 2 deserts and said I'll give you one on the house. I know right?!? Will I go back? ABSOLUTELY!! : )

My friends and I were in the mood for Italian last night... and we were on Lincoln Road... so we picked this place. What a mistake -- very overpriced for mediocre food. The waiter came to our table and told us the specials --- a few sounded pretty good. My friend ordered the Lobster Crab Ravioli -- which i must say looked delicious -- and he said it was good. I ordered rigatoni with tomatoes and mozzarella -- it was okay. Other friends ordered lasagna -- which was okay -- one said it might as well been a Lean Cuisine LOL Another friend ordered the sea bass which was one of the specials -- he said it had the consistency of tilapia... so who knows if it really was sea bass. Now to the worst part -- the prices. The lobster crab ravioli -- 48 dollars!!! Are they serious? The sea bass -- 38 dollars. This is out of control. The drinks were also out of control. My vodka tonic was 17 dollars, but my friend's martini was 10 dollars. Huh? When the bill came obviously we were a bit shocked... and I will say I don't mind paying big money for good food -- but this was outrageous. Then when we tried to pay with six credit cards, they told us the maximum was 3 --- ugh. Lets just say I will never go back.

Well I only ordered ice cream and chocolate souffle and it was OK but my friends ordered pasta and Parmesan chicken and neither finished their meal. They said the taste was just not there and they were not that hungry. Service was OK. That is all I can say.

Pizza from a woodburning oven - the real deal - and it's GOOD. Excellent house-made gnocchi w/ pesto tossed w/ diced potatoes and green beans. Unusual and perfectly cooked. Generous portions and very fair prices - relative to the area they could easily charge more and it would still be worth it. Staff is attentive but not pushy. Good salad menu, good dessert menu... Great place!

Went here with my mom the other night for a quick bite to eat. We walked up and down Lincoln looking for an Italian place, and even though the used car salesman techniques most of these restaurants employ to lure in customers is a huge turn off, we gave Sibilla a shot. It just so happened that as we sat down, they told us the menu was 50% off that night, which is always a plus but still left me a little skeptical. My mom had the carpaccio for appetizer and the homemade lasagna for her entree while I had the lobster bisque for appetizer and penne arrabiata for my entree. Everything was very good and my Italian mom (who also happens to be an amazing cook) said they had very good homemade tomato sauce. Overall, this is a great place for reasonably priced Italian food. Oh, and the bill only came out to $40 total (including tip). You can't beat that on south beach!

  • Luis R.

Walking up and down Lincoln Road really makes finding a great restaurant a crap shoot. I mean we probably passed a dozen Italian restaurants not to mention all the other cuisines. But we chose Sibilla because of the atmosphere, aroma and menu. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu and made some really good suggestions. I had the osso bucco and my wife had the filet alfredo. . (I know, it didn't sound right to me), but she enjoyed the dish and my osso bucco was very tasty. Wine choices were spot on and desert was good as well. The atmosphere at Sibilla is great and the staff is very attentive which is amazing since they have one of the bigger spots on Lincoln Road. It is fairly priced for Lincoln Road and yes the 15% tip is included when you get the bill. . but it's South Beach, so you expect both and it ensures that the restaurant can survive and the staff isn't jaded by cheap tourists who feel tipping is a city in China. . .

  • Orion S.

So i think when you have restaurants with hosts standing outside the joint telling you to eat at there place its a big big turn off. If you have good food the place will sell itself. duhhh oh oh and can't forget the classic "50% off" *come on really!? really?. Came here one night and was getting a little hungry so decided to give this place a try. I have to say i really wasn't pleased. For the price you pay you really don't get a lot to eat. Like a hand full of pasta and a piece of chicken that wouldn't satisfy a pidgin. And the 10 dollar bottle of Heineken.... remind me not to leave my flask at home again.

This place was TERRIBLE!! I went here for dinner on a date last week. I had been in the mood for Italian for a while and I thought the 50 percent off happy hour deal was a perfect sign... God, I was wrong. It was like 45 degrees out and they didn't offer us indoor seating. My fiancé was shivering all night. Our waiter (a 17 year old kid who didn't know where he was standing) came over and handed us some menus. He was dry all night and didn't pay much attention to us or our order. Instead, he took his sweet time flirting with the two blondes behind us. The prices without the discount were outrageous! I would never pay 20 dollars for a ceasar salad! Luckily, though it was happy hour, so I guess the prices okay. Our appetizer was a large platter of assorted cold cuts. The bologna tasted like pre packaged Oscar Mayer and the cheese and ham was also nothing out of the ordinary either. The prosciutto was probably the best part and it was coated in fat (Eeek!). When the food arrived we were in shock. My pasta was bland and tasteless. The sauce was definitely NOT White Wine. more like olive oil. The oysters were also unusually small. My fiance's salad was small for the price and the lettuce was plain. They also forgot to add the shrimp she had asked for. The chicken (which we paid an extra 3 dollars for) was the worst!! It was hard and cold. Almost spongy. When we asked for it to go, the waiter asked some other boy to pack it up for us. When he brought it back, he had removed the chicken. We were enraged... DO NOT FALL FOR THE HAPPY HOUR DEAL!! I wouldn't pay a dime for the quality and service.

Sibilla is an outpost of Bice so naturally I expected some good food. And good food was what I got! The meats and cheese platter is an excellent appetizer, the spinich ravioli is excellent (kind of shaped like dumplings) and the tiramisu and creme brulee were to die for. Really, really good food that will make you stuff yourself into a food coma.

  • Jessica E.

I agree with Daniela, there are so many options nearby. My friend and I had awful service, however. Our Italian waiter struggled to understand our order. We requested a salad with dressing on the side. The salad arrived--how to say this? Unfinished. It was just a pile of lettuce on a plate. One type of lettuce. We explained and explained, and he finally took it back to the kitchen. But then, inexplicably, he brought us the tricolore salad, a completely different item than we had ordered. It was a busy Saturday night but we had to eventually walk up to the bar after sitting for about ten minutes just to get some water because we were so thirsty and there were no waiters in sight. The food, however, was great- other than the salad. I had mussels and my friend got the eggplant parm. The 2 for 1 drinks special was most appreciated, and wine pours were generous. With some major overhauling of their staff, this place could really stand out as a reliable and delicious place to dine.

There are so many restaurants like this on Lincoln Road (Italian restaurants with al fresco dining) and this just happens to the be the one we randomly picked for dinner. Fortunately, the food happened to be really good! Everyone except for me ordered the pizza (which they loved) and salads (the cesar and verde- both very light and good). I ordered the salmon with the cream sauce and grilled vegetable and *drum roll* it was to die for!! The salmon was cooked to perfection and the vegetables and sauce were very flavorful. The complimentary foccacia was fantastic too. Everything was great, including the service. My only complaint (and this is the reason I didn't give them 5 stars) is that the drinks were really weak and super expensive. Our waiter informed us upon arriving that they were having a 2 for one special on blended drinks, so of course we got 2 drinks each. When we got the tab at the end of the night it turns out that the drinks were $12 each- ridiculous!!! Aside from that, the food and ambiance were wonderful, so I definitely recommend eating here.. just get your drinks somewhere else!! : )

My wife and I were visiting Miami Beach and randomly picked this restaurant on Lincoln Rd. We ordered sea bass but they gave us pompano and claimed it as sea bass. Come on...the shape and texture of the 2 fishes are so different. If they gave me sea bass and it does not taste good enough, I would still give it a 3 stars giving the drinks and service were ok. However, cheating customers with fish types are not acceptable, hence the 1 star. btw, the pompano is quite fishy as well :(

Wife and I had the fettuccine alfredo, one with chicken and the other with shrimp. The pasta was homemade and you could taste the freshness and favor. This pasta dish was great. I am definitely coming back here when in town and in the mode for a true iltalian pasta dish.

I don't really have much to say about this place other than its convenient if you are around Lincoln Road. Food is good but there are flies zooming around the food and your face the whole time you are eating. Disgusting, but like I said the food was good so three stars. PS the kitchen on the way to the bathroom smells gross.

This is a place were you have to double check your receipt with what was actually charged on your credit card. When I went there my bill was $20.29. I left a tip of $3.71 to round-up the charge on my card to $24 flat. This is about an 18% tip. A few days later, my credit card statement reveals that I was charged $24.71 instead. The difference is miniscule, but this type of mistake or fraud is often left undisputed, which is profitable for the restaurant. It's sad to see businesses burning them selves with shady practices, especially for small amounts of money. Hopefully, the manager will resolve this, but in the mean time, "BUYER BEWARE!" UPDATE: After complaining with management, I was told that this "mistake" would be fixed. This never happened.

We stopped in this place looking for one good place to take some food before go to the movie theatre. After the waitress took the order, nobody brought us water until right before the apps came (we had to ask for it). I got the Seafood risotto and my husband just the Fetuchini Alfredo; truly, it wasn't what we expect. In contrast with the price, both, portions and flavors were pretty bad. That wasn't the worst part; we asked for the check (usually in more of the place in Sobe the gratuity is included automatically for the computer once you print out the bill) and the tip was added whit hand writing on the place that the costumer have to sign. We were very curious because on the bottom of the check was tipped "the tip is not included" and it was as I said before. We asked to the manager why it was in that way, and he very disrespectfully tried us the costumes as a...holes. Sincerely, I don't understand how that type of place can still open. Steal money to the costumes is not good.

Little Italian place on Lincoln rd? Hmmm. Why not? So after a few hours of shopping and taking in the hoards of tourist crowding the rd's street, a girl can definitely build an appetite! And decided to give this place a shot. I mean, when in Rome, well, I know. So we were seated right away and handed the menus. The place, just like every place on Lincoln rd is either outdoors or very cramped. We sat and perused the menu and decided to try the lasagna. It was very tasty, although the cheese was over cooked and they attempted to cover it up by piling parmesan cheese on the top of the lasagna. The service was good too. Ultimately, nothing stood out as great for more stars, and nothing was awful also. The prices were fair (for where we were) and the coffee and tiramisu was light, fresh and delicious. And for $11 for a slice the dice of your face, a true deal. I'll be back when the winter vacation ends to see if this place improves once more relaxed.

Went here on late week night to have some dinner with a friend who came to visit me. Her first time in Lincoln Road, my husband recommended this place because he had a good experience. I can say the same too. 3.5 stars almost 4. When we were walking by the girl in front gave us a 25% off card . We walked all the lincoln road, checking the diferent restaurants and prices. Which most of them were pricey (i know is Lincoln Road) so we decided to go safe with the recomendation and of course the 25% off card. Because it was late on a week night there were not that busy, so we seated outside and shortly we have the server with us: we ordered some drinks; strawberry daiquiri ( didnt feel the alcohol in it) and a beer. They bring some bread, and we ordered simple food; 4 cheese caneloni and alfredo fettuccini. My caneloni were a good portion and tasted all Cheese it had a lot of mozarella on it. Nothing fantastic but was fine. My friend told me her pasta was good too. We practically closed the restaurant. If you want to have some dinner at Lincoln Road this is one of the places less expensive.

As for a local, someone who walks by everyday, works in service industry, and is pretty well known across south beach I would say the food was mediocre, service was a complete joke and as for their ADVERTISED 25% off THE WHOLE MENU & buy one get one beers and cocktails, we were told after the fact of our check its one or the other...... Excuse me I have never been to a restaurant where I eat and don't drink. So my advice to this place is learn from your restaurant in Monte Carlo and don't try to bamboozle your patrons. this is a big explanation as to why you operate at 59% occupancy anytime I have walked by. (I live on Lincoln road) so that says a lot.

This place looked so nice so my girlfriend and I decided to come in. It took a while for water and someone to come and take care of us. After 19 minutes I complained so finally they took our order. My girlfriend ordered seafood risotto with lobster and was delicious. The lobster was tender and had a lot of flavor. I ordered a spaghetti with clams on white wine and also was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back.

This restaurant lured us with 20% discount as we were party of 15. Night time, seated outside. Took a long time for our drinks, appetizer & bread to be served. Orders came at different times. Seafood paella with lobster was perfect! Seafood risotto, seafood pasta, ribeye were excellent. Not so much on chicken carbonara and tropical salad. Service may not be good but will definitely come back for the seafood dishes & mojito.

I've dined here twice and every time the experience is great. It's located next to the Urban Outfitters in the Lincoln Road Mall. Every time I'm in the area I will come back to Sibilla. Try their pizza the portions are decent. The service is quick as well and they have special promotions such as 25% off deal on everything on the menu and two for 1 drinks.

The food is amazing but the service isn't so hot. I'm not a Spanish speaker one and two I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant that served bread and salad the same time your entree was being served. It was very unorganized in each and every aspect . I'm very big on customer service .its also very tiny was expecting a bit more . Loved the pasta and breaded chicken . Bright side

It was a rainy late Sunday afternoon when we discovered this little gem. We were actually looking for a different restaurant but thanks to the rain we just wanted somewhere to get outta the down pour. The bruschetta that we started off with was somewhat lacking, but the entrees were amazingly yummy. The service was wonderful too, Marco was an amazing server. The only downside was that we were sitting extremely close to another table. But all in all it was a win.

  • Jennifer H.

The place is nice a clean. Our waiter was very nice. The food was mediocre. Either zero salt or too much. The focaccia sucked. The bruschetta sucked. The fish and chips were great. The margarita pizza was good. The arabiatta sauce sucked. At one point I went to the bathroom I come back and see my dish was cleared. I had not touched more than one piece. It was shocking to me. The waiter made me a new dish and brought it. But that weird move to take my plate and the lack of quality food is why I give this place 2 stars. Would not come back.

This restaurant on Lincoln blvd mall was fabulous. We ordered a chilled appetizer which was perfectly prepared both in appearance and taste. The main meal was equally as delicious. Definitely recommend.

A great way to spend a hot summer evening.

the best garden salad ive had in a while with really good dressing. my boy got a caprese wrap which was really good, but a little too much cheese! def check this spot out. they have two for one drinks also

I had the veal limon. It was tough and a dissappointment.. In fairness I may give them one more try

  • Nellie F.

  • Luis L.

    (2)
  • K'mEll R.

The manager is an asshole He promises us a group of 8 in happy hour time 2 for 1 drinks and after a hour He said no. He was rude and dishonest, and treat us and his waiters really bad.

  • Tai M.

2 for 1 drink drink is a rip off. Very high prices, deceptive advertising. Avoid at all costs.

  • John K.

  • Fabiola F.

  • Ashley C.

Bright side

Located on Lincoln Ave in South Beach, this restaurant was a decent option for Italian food. Their menu is huge and the pizzas are really good. I would not be in a huge rush to come back here, but would definitely consider coming back.

    (4)
  • Jennifer H.

The place is nice a clean. Our waiter was very nice. The food was mediocre. Either zero salt or too much. The focaccia sucked. The bruschetta sucked. The fish and chips were great. The margarita pizza was good. The arabiatta sauce sucked. At one point I went to the bathroom I come back and see my dish was cleared. I had not touched more than one piece. It was shocking to me. The waiter made me a new dish and brought it. But that weird move to take my plate and the lack of quality food is why I give this place 2 stars. Would not come back.

    (2)
  • Caitlin W.

This restaurant on Lincoln blvd mall was fabulous. We ordered a chilled appetizer which was perfectly prepared both in appearance and taste. The main meal was equally as delicious. Tonight is very busy at the holiday and our waiter did an outstanding job keeping up with us and those around. The outside dining was fun and the people watching! What fun entertainment! Definitely recommend.

  • Arturo B.

    (2)
  • Punya N.

Great food! Always a good sign when the bread is good. The tuna carpaccio with seaweed salad is my favorite- and the reason I always come back here.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in south beach. The lasagna is amazing and also the tortellini!!!! I've been here over three times and only lived here 5 months.

i was hanging out with a few friends on our way to exxxotica expo but we decided to stop by sibilla for a quick bite before getting freaky and stuff. it was happy hour so 2 for 1 drinks, bitches. it was 3 of us and we all had 3 paid rounds which means six drinks, you follow? the ladies each got a caprese salad and i ordered a dozen oysters. fuckin suaaaave. the salad was good. caprese is simple and tasty. the oysters were fresh but i wish they had mignonette sauce. yeah. im fancy and shit. service was decent but our server seemed a bit stressed out. perhaps too many tables? bill came up to $150. we paid and left to the convention center a little drunk, im not going to lie. of course i wanted to snap pictures of all the action at exxxotica but soon realized that i had left my phone at the restaurant so i went back and talked to the hostess. i got my cell phone right back and i quickly headed over to exxxotica again, thrilled that i had a camera phone with so i could take a picture with alexis texas. it was a good night. at least i liked it.

Service was good, but the pasta was undercooked. Certain meals were bland. Good ambience with indoor and outdoor seating.

Rene')

Bright side

Located on Lincoln Ave in South Beach, this restaurant was a decent option for Italian food. Their menu is huge and the pizzas are really good. I would not be in a huge rush to come back here, but would definitely consider coming back.

  • Arturo B.

It is fairly priced for Lincoln Road and yes the 15% tip is included when you get the bill. . but it's South Beach, so you expect both and it ensures that the restaurant can survive and the staff isn't jaded by cheap tourists who feel tipping is a city in China. . .

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
